I think along with those many points on hoe corruption is destined to live long, you also should have pointed out some things which normal people can follow and can help to bring a change to the future whorehouse, as you have termed. I mean, its very very easy to write on why corruption rocks today, but then if we all just complain, then it will never make a difference, its just gonna make the corrupt people laugh at how wimps like normal nice people keep crying instead of facing and trying to better change.
something like we all have a government, then why dont we use it more often ? we have the right to know things due to RTI, then why is it more people dont use it and only few use it ? Why is it that inspite of sending children to schools and colleges and teaching them that dowry is bad, then why do parents still engage in that ? when a person buys a property, why do they prefer more black money than white, so that they give the government less tax. These small things accumulate into a big thing called national corruption, and seriously just criticizing it makes no sense at all. We should get our socks up and try to pin point, remove and whistle out every corrupt officer/minister/ official we can. Media is there to help us, and thats what it had been doing. The day when the general public is NOT scared to tell out in loud that ” dude, thats wrong ! ” India would be on the road to being a global superpower, and if not that then a serene, beautiful and progressive place to live and grow in.

Due respect to the writer, i mean no offence.

Dear Bhagawan, Harsh, Mandira & Our dearest Kushal,

A standing accolade for you! Hats off to you!

let me share a secret with you.

You know why India is moving forward at a speed that makes even Mr Bush, President of America, scared?

The simple truth is that the vast majority of Indians are like you, honest.

Yes, a vast majority of Indians are still honest. Alas! They are NOT corrupt!

Even today. That is the ’silent majority’.

But sometimes I am left wondering whether I am living in a fool’s paradise. I am specially scared of the youngsters. Without their own personal experiences, they do have a hard time believing in your life story.

All that they hear is ’corruption is every where’. If they see a movie they have to see ’Jannat’ - were the hero has no conscience when he goes about corrupting the cricketers. And ’Jannat’ is a super hit. I am told. So what is in fashion is ’Jannat’ not ’Jagate Raho’. Maybe if ’Jagate Raho’ were to have its first release today, it will be a super flop!

You know why? Because people like you are now scared to tell their life stories. That they have been honest in the past, that they are honest in the present and they have no plans to be dishonest in the future. That they have never felt that they were fools doing all this.

Yes, the problem with all this discussion on ’corruption is every where’ is that good people like you, if they tell their story are labelled - hypocrites . They have to face remarks like: ”Bahut fakheta hai, fraud hai”.

It is unfortunate, but necessary to tell your honest story, NOT futile!

’Jannat’ is only possible if people like you continue to shout ’Jagate Raho’!

Yes! even today.

So my dear, take heart, forget this hulla gulla of ’everybody is corrupt’. The only way for ’Hulla Bol!’ on corruption is to be honest, say that you are honest, believe that the vast majority is honest.

at this juncture , what can be done by a common person. He cant stop the corruption, the best national service is to take an oath not to be part of that corruption cycle. You have to take a decision......thats all.

We have got the freedom . How many of people have really fought for It.? it could only be 15 % to 205, but we got freedom.

Decide ...................yeh sab nahi chalega.
